About The Discovery Factory
This iconic abandoned Philips factory now is a playground where children and their parents experience adventures with films (on request with English subtitling) and inspiring interactive exhibits. In several workshops they can design and build (also 3D print!) their own inventions or create movies themselves. A unique place (with a nice cafetaria) for creative families and an inspiring location for business events as well!

Additional info about the Discovery Factory
In a former Philips factory in Eindhoven children are playfully enthused for science and technology and its infinite possibilities. They discover how much fun it is finding out how things work and how to create. The initiative has been founded in 2009 and receives about 30,000 visitors annually. The organization also offers educational programs for schools. The responsible foundation is supported by government and industry who realize how important it is that children, from an early age, discover their creative and technical talents.
