De Uitvinders lessen

De oudsten (9 t/m 12 jaar) gaan aan de slag met ‘De Uitvinders en Het Verborgen Oog’. De Uitvinders gaan op reis naar de wereldtentoonstelling. Maar tijdens een heftige storm vergaat hun schip bij een verlaten eiland. Met de hulp van een verstekeling weet de bemanning een aantal uitvindingen te redden. Die komen goed van pas op het eiland. Een bijzondere reis langs thema’s als dierenleed, zelfredzaamheid en het milieu.

De kinderen van 6 t/m 8 jaar nemen we mee in het avontuur van ‘De Uitvinders in Afrika’. Een Nederlands meisje gaat met haar familie in Afrika wonen. Ze mist haar vriendinnen. Maar als ze het Afrikaanse jongetje Jabali leert kennen, ontdekt ze hoe leuk het is om je eigen speelgoed te maken. Een avontuur waarin de thema’s vriendschap, Afrika, speelgoed, duurzaamheid en recycling centraal staan.

Samen met de jongste kinderen van 4 t/m 5 jaar gaan op muzikale ontdekkingstocht met ‘De Uitvinders maken Muziek’. De straatmuzikant Dunja trekt over de wereld, maar speelt steeds hetzelfde liedje. Met behulp van de Sam de Sok gaan we aan slag om muziekinstrumentjes te maken zodat Dunja nieuwe liedjes kan spelen. Een avontuur waar kinderen ontdekken wat er allemaal komt kijken bij het maken van geluid en muziek.

Aanvullende workshops

• Alle kinderen doen twee keer mee met een sportworkshop.
• Alle kinderen gaan op excursie naar De Ontdekfabriek.
• Kinderen (4-5 jaar en 6 t/m 8 jaar) zijn met hun ouders welkom bij de voorleesavonden van Bibliotheek Eindhoven.
• De oudsten (9 t/m 12 jaar) volgen workshops van Lumens/Dynamo jeugdwerk en gaan naar Playing for Success in het PSV Stadion.

The inventors lessons

Children with the ages 9-12 will be working with ‘The Inventors and the hidden eye’. The Inventors go on a trip to the World’Exibition. During a storm, their ship is wrecked near a deserted island. With the help of a stowaway, the crew rescues a number of inventions. They come in handy on the island. A special journey through themes such as animal suffering, self-reliance and the environment.

The children from 6 through 8 years old will join the ‘The Inventors in Africa’. A Dutch girl goes to live in Africa with her family. She misses her friends. But when she meets the African boy Jabali, she discovers how much fun it is to make your own toys. An adventure in which the themes of friendship, Africa, toys, sustainability and recycling are central.

The youngest children (4-5 years) will do ‘The Inventors Make Music’. The musician Dunja travels the world but knows only one song to play. With the help of Sam the Sock we will be making new instruments so that Dunja can play more and more songs!  An adventure in which children will discover a lot about sound and music. 

Additional workshops

• All children attend two sports workshops on the school location.
• All children will go on a trip to The Discovery Factory.
• Children (age 4-5 and 6 till 8 years) and their parents are invited to the bookreading afternoon by Bibliotheek Eindhoven.
• Children with the ages 9-12 attend workshops Spoken Word by Lumens/Dynamo jeugdwerk and go to Playing or Success at PSV Stadium.
