DiscoveryMonsters workshop with LED light
How would you like to make DiscoveryMonsters with glowing eyes with the whole class or after-school care (BSO) group? You can then wear your own monster as a badge!
To make it easy for your school or after-school care, all children can make monsters together with the adventure guides and machines of The Discovery Factory: at your own location or at The Discovery Factory.
CONTENT: What will we do?
Children design their own monster, which they fret-saw, decorate and fit with a light with dynamic lighting. Is your monster finished?! Attach it to your clothes and you’ll steal the show!
The Discovery Factory provides all the materials and the tools for fret-sawing (with a machine) and for making the LED light shine.

Sign up your class(es) via info@deontdekfabriek.nl (stating the name of the school/after-school care and contact person, phone number, number of groups and number of pupils per group, choice between The Discovery Factory or your own location, preferred dates/times (the more dates, the better the chance we have a free slot).
Practical info
Duration: 1-1.5 hours
Suitable for: year group 5/6/7/8
Group size: A maximum of 30 pupils at a time
Costs for a visit to The Discovery Factory:
- €25 start-up fee per group/visit.
- + €8 per pupil.
(With fewer than 15 pupils, we still charge for 15 pupils) - optional: €1.50 per pupil for a drink/biscuit
On location: This workshop is also available as a workshop at your location! PLEASE NOTE: the workshop must take place on the ground floor because of the workstations we bring along. Help from the teacher is needed. (Outside Eindhoven we charge travel costs.)
