You don’t only have adventures at our location. You can also have them in your own classroom or at after-school care (BSO). The Discovery Factory offers a wide choice. Take a look at the options below and at a video that gives you an idea of what you will experience.
Inventors lesson programmes
Inventors adventures for your classroom tie in seamlessly with a trip to The Discovery Factory. Lesson plans with instruction videos are available for primary education year groups 1 to 8 and for secondary education. You can order these via our webshop. For the best result, and to save you gathering materials, you can optionally use materials kits for a fee.
Together with Gynzy we have developed extra simple online tools for a number of adventures (the links are included with the lesson plans in the webshop) that guide pupils through the projects at home very easily.
Guest lessons and workshops (at school or after-school care)
A visit to The Discovery Factory is an unforgettable experience. But did you know that The Discovery Factory can also come to your location? This is often a great solution, especially for schools or childcare locations where transporting children is difficult to organise. We have lots of creative and technical lessons and workshops for children aged 4 to 12, run by enthusiastic supervisors. This can take place during school hours or after school at your own location.
There are several ways to approach guest lessons:
- as a one-off workshop, for example a soldering workshop for the oldest children and/or a mask-making workshop for the little ones
- one or more lessons within our inventors programmes
- kick-off of De Uitvinderswedstrijd (The Inventors Competition)
