Workshops on location: experience it!

WORKSHOPS at schools, after-school care, events and company locations

Did you know that The Discovery Factory can also come to your location? We have lots of creative and technical workshops, run by enthusiastic supervisors. This can be at school (during lessons or after school, for example as part of Techkwadraat or Rijke Schooldag), at after-school care (BSO), a festival, an event or at a company, for example for a family event or open day.

There are several flavours:

• one-off workshops, for example a soldering workshop, a vacuum forming workshop or machine fretsawing. We come to you in our electric “makers bus” full of real machines and tools and turn the room into a real workshop
• a series of after-school activities. These inspiring, in-depth workshops last 1 to 1.5 hours, with the same children (of roughly the same level) every week. For up to 15 children we come with 1 supervisor, for more we bring extra. We often follow our Inventors Adventures for an inspiring context, but we can also take a current (school) theme into account.
• one or more lessons within our inventors programmes
