Teamwork with the chain reaction

Working together is fun!

Only when we work together as a team as well as we can do we achieve the result we want! These basic rules certainly apply to the ‘chain reaction’ workshop at The Discovery Factory.

Together we build a big chain reaction through the whole Discovery Factory. You can use anything to create a ‘Lauf der Dinge’: a kind of domino run made of big strange objects mixed with everyday household materials from The Discovery Factory. The movement has to keep going, but the chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Teamwork needed! First we watch a fun video for inspiration, then we split the group into smaller teams that each take care of part of the run. And of course those parts have to connect to each other. That is quite a challenge!

How do you make sure the chain reaction works all the way through and reaches the end point in the most complicated and slowest way possible? And what is the end point? The unveiling of your new product or mission statement? A present for someone celebrating a work anniversary? Or a Discovery Factory flag shooting up? Anything is possible!
