Will you help keep the inventors of the future on course? The De Ontdekfabriek foundation in Eindhoven is the place where children and young people discover their talents through play, via technology, innovation and creativity.

After a fantastic 8 years of commitment, Floris Lievens is stepping down as a member of our Supervisory Board. To take over the baton and keep building the future, our Supervisory Board is looking for a new, committed member.

Your role

As a Supervisory Board member, you help safeguard the mission of The Discovery Factory. You are a sharp and enthusiastic sparring partner for the management board. Together we look at the strategy, continuity and the course for the future. An extra exciting challenge: in 2027 we are moving to a brand-new location, which brings lots of great opportunities.

What do you bring?

A heart for young people & technology: You love education, talent development and innovation, and you are interested in what is going on among young people and in education.

An entrepreneurial outlook: You think in opportunities, understand how a creative organisation works and look at challenges with fresh eyes.

A relevant network: You know your way around education, government or business (preferably within the Brainport region) and are happy to open doors. Naturally, you remain independent and have no conflict of interest.

What do you get in return?

An inspiring and socially valuable role at a foundation with ANBI Culture status that makes a real impact. It takes about 20 hours a year. This is an unpaid position.
