building bridges

A popular metaphor in politics, but building real bridges is not easy.
Especially not when the bridge actually has to work. At The Discovery Factory
a team builds a span of about five metres from prefab parts (without any fixings). If the participants work well together, it is possible to complete the span. You can even walk across this bridge. This workshop is also a great way to let different teams compete against each other. Which team reaches the other side first? Which team works together best?
